My Lipstick Storage

I hope everyone's having a lovely Easter weekend and enjoying the weather!

I just wanted to share with you my lipstick storage. I used to store my lipsticks all lying down in a drawer with my other makeup, but obviously as my collection grew, finding the different shades turned out to be a bit of a nightmare.

So here's how I store them now..

In a Ferrero Rocher box! It's the perfect size for lipsticks. Now I can see all the names, it's so much easier to find the lipstick I want and it reminds me of what ones I have, so that none go unloved. And the best point, a friend of my mum's gave the Ferrero Rochers to her for Christmas, so I just took the box after. It didn't cost a penny (:

NOTD. Barry M Mint Green

When I was watching The Only Way is Essex the other night, I loved Maria Fowler's mint green nail varnish (hers was by Model's Own) and it inspired me to paint my nails a similar colour, so today I whipped out Barry M's Mint Green. I love it!

Review: Diorskin Forever foundation

.
'This luxurious foundation stays flawlessly smooth and looks naturally perfect in any environment. An exclusive nano-stretch network inspired by nano-textile technology to insure makeup will fit like a second skin and a unique hydra-gel moisture-stabilizing system, Dior takes smoothing, wear, and comfort to the ultimate extreme of beauty. Non-transfer and waterproof.'

I bought this foundation at the beginning of the year, so I've had it for a good few months now. I originally bought it because my friend was using it and it looked so good on her, also I'd seen a lot of good reviews on other blogs, so I was really excited to try it!

At £28.50, it's the second most expensive foundation I've ever bought (the first being Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser at £32.) It's a medium coverage foundation and covers imperfections really well. I usually apply it to my skin using my fingers, it has a semi-matte finish but still leaves my skin with a glowy look. It makes my skin look flawless and feels nice and light on my skin, not heavy at all or mask-like. The consistencey of it is very light and not as thick as some of my other foundations like MAC's Studio Fix Fluid, and a little goes a long way (I usually use 2 pumps for my whole face and blend it down my neck.)

I had heard that a problem many people found with this foundation is that it tends to oxidize on the skin and go darker during the day, however I haven't really noticed this (probably because I like to bronze myself up with NARS Casino bronzer.) The only thing I'm not fond of is the smell, as it's quite heavily perfumed and a bit overpowering, however once applied to the skin this isn't a problem at all.

I really like this foundation! I love the finish and how it makes my skin look and I find it lasts well during the day. It is expensive but a little goes a long way so I think this will last quite a long time. I would repurchase this in the future.

Diorskin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Foundation SPF25 costs £28.50 for 30ml.

A Summery Little Haul

The weather's been so nice recentley, and it's been making me feel all summery, so on a recent shopping trip with my boyfriend, I decided to pick up a few summery bits. I love Primark's sandals and flip flops! I always buy them in the summer, and they have some gorgeous ones this year. I'm planning on going back soon, to purchase a few more pairs! And I really needed some new denim shorts, the ones I bought look quite short off the hanger but they don't look too short when they're on. I also need to buy some new sunglasses for Summer, and there's some really pretty bikinis in River Island (even though I haven't booked a holiday yet!)
